Although the average age is fifty years, its oldest wine component goes back to 1915, and it also contains rare tawny parcels from 1940, 1945 and post-World War II decades. Warm, seductive aromatic notes of vanilla, toffee and chocolate tease onto a smooth, silky, textural palate evoking vibrant characters of mocha, chocolate and fruit cake, with notes of salty plum and savoury spice insinuating themselves into the complex, multilayered blend.
