Specially crafted for Glengarry by Jak Jakicevich. Every bottle of Double Barrel Reposado begins with 100% Blue Weber Agave Tequila, and is rested in a toasted Oak Barrel for 11 months creating a smooth and inviting Tequila. This Tequila is then matured for an additional month in a new toasted oak barrel. This second barrel is hand-made especially for this extra aging. The aging in the new toasted oak barrel allows the reposado to develop additional depth of character and flavour. Each barrel imparts uncommon smoothness, aroma and flavour notes of cooked agave, dried fruits and sweet brown spice. Finally, each barrel of Double Barrel Reposado Tequila is tasted, approved and authenticated by Herradura's Master Distiller, and hand bottled at the Estate. Each bottle is numbered, marked with it's barrel number and selection date. Double Barrel Reposado - unlike any other.
