Malt Advocate named these guys 'Distillery of the Year' in '01, though they probably had trouble announcing the prize-winner after a few of these precious little drams. Lighter for an Islay, it is less complex than some, more succulent than most. According to one boffin it tastes of 'home made fudge' with a slip of citrus on the back palate. Apricot fudge, perhaps? Fine, indeed.
