Astar is Gaelic for journey, created in 2008, this is a single malt entirely matured in bespoke oak casks, designed to deliver perfection in the final spirit. The Astar’s extraordinary casks are hewn from hand-selected slow-grown oak trees from the Ozark mountains of Missouri, and meticulously crafted to exacting specifications, to ensure they impart their maximum flavour to our delicate Highland spirit. In 2017, The Astar’s triumphant, limited-edition return brings a newfound richness and complexity to this smooth, creamy and long celebrated single malt.
